The holidays are here and that means that it’s time to eat all types of good food. If you are hosting a holiday gathers, going to a holiday gathering or just want a nice dessert after dinner then you have to make this “White Wine Cake” Recipe.  Grab your favorite holiday drink to enjoy with tasty cake.

INGREDIENTS

Cake

  • 1 box Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 Small Box Instant Vanilla Pudding
  • 2 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • (¼ Cup) Light Brown Sugar
  • (¼ Cup) Granulated Sugar
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • (¾ Cup) Vegetable Oil
  • (¾ Cup) Water
  • 2 Teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • ½ cup of chopped pecans (optional)
  • (½ Cup) White Wine

Glaze

  • 1 stick of Butter
  • (1 Cup) Granulated Sugar
  • (¼ Cup) White Wine
  • 1 Tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 350F and grease a 10-cup bundt pan, set aside.
  • In a large bowl mix all cake ingredients until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 60 mins, or until a toothpick in the center of the cake comes out clean.

Glaze

  • Melt until sugar is dissolved and butter has fully melted. Do not boil!
  • Use a skewer or thin metal piece to poke holes all over the cake. Pour the glaze on top and let the cake rest for 1 hour before serving. Store leftovers in the fridge.
*The alcohol in the wine is cooked out so you can serve it to anyone!

This cake never stands a chance in my house and I am sure it will be the same in yours!
